It's a little hard to believe this day has come, but it has. After a couple months shy of three years in the beloved Provo house we have moved out. It was hard for us do, due to the fact that I largely remodeled the home in and out, but adventured called and it was time to answer. So, you are probably now asking yourself, "What adventure?" So i'll try my best to give the nutshell version.
I am currently living at the place to the right called The Hamilton in Horn Lake, MS located just outside Memphis, TN. Lindsey, on the other hand, has returned to live with her parents. Oh, easy now! Don't worry! Lindsey and I are doing just fine, she just has to finish teaching school before she can join me for the rest of the summer.
While Horn Lake is beautiful my original plan was to be living in Nashville, TN, which we will, but not for a couple of months. For those of you who may not know I am a musician/singer/songwriter/whatever, and an opportunity arose to do a summer job that would allow me to be in Nashville with some time to pursue my music career goals. Yes folks, I'm installing security systems for the summer. Unfortunately some plans changed after signing on and we are spending the first two months in Memphis instead of Nashville, but since I have to be away from Lindsey for 6 weeks I should have plenty of time for songwriting. While in Nashville I hope to get more songs written, network, and look into the possibility of a more long term move to Music City in the future. However, Lindsey is committed to teach kindergarten again next year and I have voice students awaiting my return. To some degree our lives seem a bit like a suspenseful "To be continued. . . ." Well, when we know what's gonna happen we'll let you know. Since the theme of this summer seems to be "change"(not inspired or affiliated in any way with Pres. Obama) I decided to change my image a bit as well. Those who know me know I've had facial hair for about a year now. Well. . . .
it's all gone. Of course there's a pretty good chance it will be coming back before too long.
I also bought myself a new guitar to keep me company while I am without wife. It is an Epiphone Dove and while it may not be the most expensive guitar money can buy, it's pretty good and I quite like it. Now I just have to learn to play it:)
Well folks, that's about it for now, but I'm sure our summer adventures in the deep south will produce many a great story to blog about in the future, but until then I'm signing off. Talk to ya'll later.

Wow. Without facial hair, I almost didn't recognize you. Your face looks naked.
It feels naked too!
Your face does look rather naked:) I am just so use to the facial hair.
Good Luck! Keep in touch so we know how it goes.
Josh... sounds like fun! Good luck to you. I am so proud of you and Lindsey, and know you will do great!
Have a great time with your new guitar (it's really pretty, but not as pretty as Lindsey)!
Love, Annie and the family
Big plans! It's crazy to think of you guys not living in that cute Provo house, but your future sounds exciting.
WOW> The end of an era, after that beautiful old house! I know how much you loved it too.
Well, that's how it goes, sometimes. WE sure miss being your neighbors!
